This is a fascinating discussion from 2017 revealing how Dr. Douglas Petrovich discovered evidence that perhaps points to the Hebrew Alphabet being derived from the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. He argues that this discovery shows an ancient form of Hebrew as being the world’s oldest alphabet.

From 8:00 minutes he outlines how he discovered that Manasseh, one of the two sons of the Biblical patriarch Joseph (who was used by God to help save Egypt) would visit the turquoise mines of Serabit-el-Khadim in the south-west Sinai Peninsula.
